In 2019, when I was working at IDC, IIT Bombay, I made these illustrations for an online course on Game design for Undergraduate students. The brief was to create illustrations to be animated and added to the live-action video recording of the course, in post-production. These classes would then be made available to a larger student body through an online portal.

Thinking beyond diagrams

The illustrations were diagrammatic in nature; intentioned to augment the lessons being taught in the class, highlighting and elucidating concepts clearly to a virtual classroom. My efforts in this project were to create drawings that felt kind and expressive. I wanted the illustrations to be scenic, more than diagrammatic; I wanted them to evoke a sense of kindness.
